Whether a first time beginner, or a seasoned veteran, let us organise you a Fly Fishing guide to take you to the most active and attractive fishing locations around Tasmania’s Central Highlands (or even, out to sea!)
Depending on where, how long and how experienced you want your guide our local professional guides offer three options:
- Introductory: fishing for Brown Trout in the Clyde River (which runs through the Ratho Farm property), the guide shows you the basic skills and brings all the equipment but excludes lunch ($150 for half a day for up to 5 people, perfect for a family);
- Half day: shows you some good local locations, basic skills and brings all the equipment but excludes lunch ($350 for half a day for up to 5 people, perfect for a family); or
- Full Day: take you to nearby lakes and rivers with all the equipment, and use their local and seasonal knowledge to give you the best chance of landing a lovely trout ($660 for a full day including lunch, for up to 2 people and $30 for each additional person up to 4 people in total).
We need at least 3 weeks’ notice to book a guide in so if you are interested, please let me know before you arrive. Below are some other fishing guides you are welcome to contact.
